These pins have become one of my trademarks. They are multi-purpose as brooches, hatpins or even serviette pins. Above all they are highly decorative to close different pieces of clothing.

The steel of the point is hard, but also springy. Therefore it is easy to stick both parts together and keep them safely. Even men, not only women wear these pins: they like them at the collar of their jackets. Men use my pins as a simple, but elegant adornment. Versions: Platinum, solid Gold, Sterling Silver, gold-plated bronze or brass, high grade steel, partly with diamonds.

This technique gives a special surface design to my jewelry:
Under high heat and with special chemical additives organic and archaic structures appear on the surface of the metal.

Bronze and brass, copper and silver are patinated by me. The results of color and expression are depending on the used material. They are neither completely predictable nor exactly reproducible.

My gold-plated jewelry is created in my own workshop: On the basic of silver, bronze or brass a galvanic 18 ct. gold plating achieves a very good durability. Afterwards a rigid-gloss gilding makes a glossy finish.

It attracts me to take bronze and brass for manufacturing my jewelry. They have an old tradition in the jewelry sector and above all they are lighter than silver or solid gold. This is a very good feature to create earrings, for example.

Bronze and brass are known since the third millennium BC and so they have a long tradition in the manufacturing of jewelry and objets d’art. Bronze and brass don’t contain nickel components and they are also not counted among the allergic substances.

In the 17th century the Japanese developed a highly decorative form of metalworking called “Mokume Gane”: “mokume” = grain of wood, “gane” = metal

By forging and folding various metal alloys they accomplished organic structures. These organic structures give the impression of moving water or wood grain.

The Japanese are using this method to forge their knives and swords very hard. They are known as “Damascene knives”. We goldsmiths are using precious metal – here you see a combination of copper and Sterling silver. It is a pretty time-consuming process in many steps. The result is a very expressive pattern.
